U.S. Rolls Back Environmental Policies

At the beginning of his second term, President Trump rolled back policies aimed at reducing carbon emissions, including ending subsidies for renewal energy, ending climate research, publishing reports denying climate science, and withdrawing the U.S. from the Paris Climate Agreement. His administration also weakened regulations on industries, allowing them to emit more pollutants.
