Meat Production Rising

By 2050, demand for livestock products in sub-Saharan Africa and South Asia is expected to increase from about 200 kcal per person per day in 2000 to about 400 kcal per person per day. World meat production is projected to double by 2050, most of which is expected in developing countries.
